Hong Kong’s Profit Royal Pharmaceutical Ltd NASK PM2.5 Sport Mask – champion once again at the 45th International Exhibition of Inventions of Geneva (2017).
Jointly invented by Hong Kong’s Profit Royal Pharmaceutical Ltd (PTRL) and Nano and Advanced Material Institute (NAMI), the NASK Nanofiber “PM2.5 Sport Mask” was showcased at the 45th International Exhibition of Inventions of Geneva. The mask was awarded the GOLD+ medal with “jury commendation” as the best among all the gold medals awarded!
Profit Royal Pharmaceutical Ltd Director Ms Sarinda Kwok, decided to bring the NASK Nanofiber “PM2.5 Sport Mask” to participate in this year’s event. Although this is the second time the company has participated in the International Invention Exhibition, there was added pressure to perform well as last year PTRL introduced the NASK Air Purifying and Bacteria Killing ‘Smart Mask’, which also won an award.
Ms Kwok stated that it was truly an honour for Hong Kong, PTRL and NAMI, and showed NASK products have achieved an international standard. Over the past year, the company has been continuously improving the manufacturing process, obtaining various standard certificates, and have subsequently been awarded N95 approval from NIOSH (USA), which means PTRL is now the only manufacturing plant in Hong Kong with this NIOSH approval.
The PM2.5 Sport Mask is lighter, thinner and has even greater permeability than the NASK Air Purifying and Bacteria Killing Smart Mask. Sportspeople or those whom are active outdoors can now breathe effortlessly while exercising in open space, all while filtering out PM2.5 pollutants. With its high permeability – users can also avoid the adverse effects such as dizziness that is brought on by low blood oxygen levels due to inappropriate mask choice. With the NASK Nanofiber PM2.5 Sport Mask, active users worldwide no longer need to suffer poor air quality while exercising.
